Established in 2007, and located in the Capitol Hill area, Rita's Place is a family owned organization that has served the families of the District of Columbia's Ward 6 community for more than 15 years.  

Our founder and Executive Director, Rita Brown-Hall has over 20 years of teaching and childcare experience.  She has established Rita's Place as an organization with a stellar reputation for excellence in child care.

Our mission is to provide quality childcare for all families within our community in a warm, nurturing, loving and educational environment.  We serve the childcare needs of all economic levels, allowing families to obtain employment or further their education. We strive to serve as a  support network and resource for families which strengthens the community we serve.
